So with Harper and the Conservative Party talking about cracking down copyright infringement, what is in store in the future? (This is aimed more at Gari, the site's leader). Do you plan on continuing until you get your first C & D, or go into rebel mode? Either choice I understand, I was just wondering.

I'm not concerned. And I don't expect any C&D's as a result of Harper.

I'm not that worried, Harper can try, but nevertheless, it will be impossible to stop the thousands of us, besides these manga are unlicensed, meaning there's no copyright here for them.

On another note...WTF, how the hell did this happen, I only just realized that the elections happened already yesterday(too damn tired to care), there really wasn't much of a campaign, all I remember is seeing various conservative ads that crapped on dion everyday, no one even tried here at all.(though it was somewhat interesting seeing how the conservatives tried to get a vote for the guy in my riding with "we chinese should unite and vote for one of our own" :? BS at the door)(conservative guy in my riding was chinese)

For those of you who've never seen the real ones

...my favourites: all of the "Gamble" ads (funny and stupid) and Lest we forget(message was good, but the attempt at Drama not so much)

...but Family one was somewhat heartwarming

This is precisely why we steer clear from any licensed (in US) series. Less likely to get our house ambushed by local law enforcement like they do with RIAA/MPAA... What's more, is that some of the series that we work are highly unlikely to be licensed, so no point of them chasing after us. They should spend more time monitoring AIG execs. from wasting my money on refreshment.... >.>

lol iv told local police about all the movies/songs/anime i have on my external hard drives and they dont care, they download this stuff aswell.

technically about 90% of H-Doujinshi are illegal due to the fact the characters drawn dont have disclaimers saying there 18+ at the beginning. some guy in edmonton got arrested for having too much physical doujinshi. but they dont block the sights or arrest us. thats a VERY stupid canadian law , about the stupidest in my opinion.

and if they do raid me over this Good for them i have electromagnets in the sidebords of my front and back doors that i can activate from my room so if anyones taking my computer out of my house whoosh hard drives all wiped and fried, with external hard drive copies in a safety deposit box and at another Very secure location. im Very serious about my anime. and i dont believe in those (i believe to be) stupid laws anyway.

^ Maybe too much. I have the magnet setup but as for backup I have a list. The authorities can't do shit about a pen and paper list after all.
