And to recruit smelly otaku who can stalk you around since they are living in the very same city as you are?
I object!

Good point, (but why would they stalk you :?: ) perhaps only arranged meetings in terms of only dropping off what to do and picking up the results while only communicating online

Drop by our IRC channel for all your "recruitment" needs. At this time, though, we are not actively recruiting anyone... Economic Recession has reached IRC as well?

Just wondering if it is possible to help you guys out at all. Do you have any positions you need help with? I'd like to help so you can release all of these great series quicker so please reply. If all of the spots are filled then so be it, but I would like to help.

Translator. We (and other hundreds of groups) are in dire need of good translators. No one ever turns down a good translator. Translating translators are the translating goodness for this translation starved community of translation-dom....

Well, maybe the community in general needs translators, but we don't. We have nobody to edit the translations.

Applying the translated scripts into the raw scan, and fix the any oddities and blemishes along the way.

I figured as much. Unfortunately thats above my current skill set and can understand why you have trouble finding one, its a pain in the ass. I am familiar with Photoshop but to do something to that degree is well.. hard. lol.

Well, figured I'd extend a hand since you guys have so many projects and all. And thanks for being civil about this, other places are violent when it comes to this kind of thing (so much so that I don't bother asking if I could help after seeing other people get chewed out).

It's not just that, but we've brought on many people who disappear quickly without a word. If it's too much for them, or they don't have the time to do it, or whatever, that's fine. It's the disappearing that bothers me. Because then I don't know if they quit, if they're coming back, or whatever, and it turns out that the project they were working on ends up stalled. I can't go ahead and do it myself or give it to someone else to do, because then they might show up one day months later and say 'i'm done'
meanwhile we've already gone ahead without them. In the end it's better to just do everything at my own pace.

He abuses his bike at own pace, too... and look whatever happened to it. The point is unless you are prepared to take some serious abuse, don't come knocking the door (j/k) XD.

Well I'm more then willing to help just tell me what needs to be done. I can read some Japanese (not great with kanji) so I don't mind proofreading alongside with the raw. To be honest I got my degree in the spring but I can't find a job in the economy so with a just a part-time job to pay the bills I have all the time in the world. Also I'm not the type of person to just disappear, if things get busy in my life and I don't have time to help I'll give as much notice as possible. Unfortunately for me (but not for you) that doesn't look like its going to happen anytime soon.
