Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you for the Umi releases! I've enjoyed them very, very much. Gari, do you ever rest? It was heroic work with BV, I thought I'd have to wait a month or two for Umi. Color me ... happy!

Just wanted to pop in and say THANKS * 1000 for all the scanlating this group does for the awesome series: Umi No Misaki.

As a small bit of thanks, and I dedicate my first attempt at coloring to Solaris-SVU. You can use this however you want, and I can rearrange the text if you want to use it for something. It must look terrible, LOL, newbie work. :D

Since I haven't opened my Photoshop in ages and only recently got reinspired to touch the software after reading Umi No Misaki, I decided to go ahead and complete another coloring/sketch as a gift for the awesome team here at Solaris-SVU.

The same conditions apply to the art. I did not watermark either piece because it's up to the owners of this site to use as this wish. I can remove text, etc.

I tried to give more detail to my second time ever coloring; this time using three colors for shading instead of two as in the previous one. I still can't draw faces, so I decided to leave it blank after about a million attempts. Designing websites, I think is easier than this coloring business, but that's cause I have no talent in free-hand drawing. It's been a ton of fun shading in all of these pictures those by hand, pixel by pixel. Time consuming, but a blast. :)

Anyways, I digress.

Here's my favorite maiden, the dorky, but oh-so-loveable: Shizuku, Giver of Blessings and Maiden of the Sea.

Wow, I love them, but I have no idea how I could use them. Even as something like a credit page, I wouldn't want to write over it XD

Dammit, Gari, you're feeding my addiction. Thanks for Chapter 30 - Karin. Is. The. One! I wish I were better at slang, because the only phrase that comes to mind is that I'd 'hit it like the fist of an angry god...'

I was wondering what was delaying Solaris in releasing Itoshi no Kana, so I decided yesterday to give a try to Umi no Misaki, and well... I have no doubts about why you are giving some priority to this manga. It's not the best one I've ever read, but it's got... you know, that special touch.

The story is very typical and the drawing begins pretty simplistic, variable and not very detailed, but the mangaka keeps on improving chapter after chapter. And now the drawing really looks like Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa, another so-so ecchi manga, that also had that... that special touch.

So thanks a lot, too, for translating this manga.

Wow, thanks again guys. That extra chapter is ultra cute.

@Reboot: there's something wonderful about a sweet, simple story where everyone is good people. Well, ok, besides the annoying teacher, but she's the comic relief.

Man, you'd think the mangaka had plenty time to improve over the course of their previous manga, seeing as how it lasted for 17 volumes and all.

UOH!
I didn't realise that Ai Yori Aoshi was 17 volumes long!
Jesus Christ! I thought he was a real begginer, really.

Thanks for such quick releases and I really like this manga even though it isnt as good as Ai Yori Aioshi but still Umi No Misaki is really good in its own way. I really loved how jealous Shizuku got when the teacher kissed Nagi lol
