The first manga i ever read was Video Girl Ai sure it was made the same year i was born sure i did start on 11th volume but it made find out what manga was and how i could get the rest of the books sure it took me months to get 100$ dollars but it was worth it best ending ever i love Katsura Masakazu for writing the best manga for me out there i have all 15th volumes in my room in protective box that's how much i love this manga sooo anyone fell the same about a manga they read?

The first manga I ever read was my brother's copies of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind that he picked up at the San Diego Comic Con back in the mid 90's. Still one of my favorites.

Well... the first anime I've watched was Dragonball or Astro Boy... I'm afraid that I wasn't really into manga until Inuyasha or Naruto (both very long and repetitive...)

Either Astro Boy or Galaxy Express 999 (and from the office of my dentist, no less). He had a book shelf full of manga to keep the children occupied while other poor souls screamed in agony of getting the treatment. XD

Akira, i bought the special addition DvD like 8 years ago on a whim and my friend and I went head over heels over after watching it, and then he bought the manga and let me borrow it... so damn, that was my introduction into both manga AND anime

The first manga I read was Ichigo 100%. I stumbled onto a online manga reader site and saw the name ichigo. The name sounded familiar because I heard that name on cartoon network while my nephew was watching a bleach episode. Well I gave it a try and couple days later I finished the dam thing. I couldn't belive how entertaining it was. It kept me glued to my computer, reading chapter after chapter. Looking back, I kinda wish I didn't read it, now I spend to much time reading mangas. At work I routinely check out manga updates to see if any of my favorite mangas are updated. It created an addiction that I have a hard time controling. Ah vell I can say I don't enjoy it, I must say that one of my all time favs is Bitter virgin. Actually everything solaris scans is awsome. You know its going to be a good day, when new Umi no masiki is available.

My first manga was Battle Angel Alita, it´s still one of my favourites.

That ones good, it´s the perfect first manga.

Don't recall exactly....I think it was either '2001 Nights' by Hoshino Yukinobu, or 'Akira', by Otomo.
Although, of all I've read, I still think 'Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa' might be the best...Miyazaki tells a wonderful story.....
