All the comics I like are beeing released so slow... (Roger Leloup doesn´t get younger)
Well I can certainly wait, always happy when they aren´t completely cancelled (like Double Arts - sniff, sob)

I have like 7 different manga I'm reading being released very slowly or is on hold. What I don't understand is though, they groups are releasing other chapters very fast for their other manga.

Someone poked Kana with rather sharp object, and as a result, her boobies were deflated. We are trying to find a right glue to patch her up, but Gari and I are not having a whale of time deciding on just how big her boobies should be, so we are standing in stalemate.

Nooooo!!!! Not Kana's boobies! T_T

For some reason I don't doubt it.

Gari wanted a pair of saggy granny boobies... I don't want that.

Here are some possibilities for this:
1.) Different translators and/or editors for the different series - if so, one is just faster/has more free time than the others perhaps
2.) They don't like that particular project as much so they only work on it when they muster up the strength to.
3.) The projects that they pump out are more popular, and they're afraid some vulture group will swoop in and steal their project if they don't work fast enough on it.

All three of kuropon's theories are correct (to varying degrees):

#1: Different Editors: hence why Umi no Misaki is pretty much on lightening pace, since we commission other group to clean/edit magazine release, whereas Gari pretty much has to do everything on most of other projects.

Which brings up...

#2: Gari lost interest on Virgin na Kankei and pretty much hates Kyoukasho ni Nai! He pokes me to edit on KnN once in awhile whenever he loses sanity and translate a chapter or two.

Which brings up...

#3: We didn't plan on using magazine release to work on Umi no Misaki initially, but more and more signs were pointing at vultures swooping down and stealing newer chapters while we wait for the tankobon. Since we are not fond of losing out on our project in such "undignified" way, we took up on the other group's offer to work on magazine release while using tankobon to re-release previous chapters (and it looks better, too).

That's too bad about Virgin na Kankei, because I was thinking about trying reading it once it was done. Out of all of the manga this group is doing, I'm waiting on Kana the most.

I can't speak for everyone, but the story of Kana is very touching. That is probably why I await it's releases more than others. Yuria is making up for it slightly though.
